The FHSAA has provided opportunities for high school students in Florida to participate on a fair and equitable basis in interscholastic athletic programs that produce vital educational benefits. The FHSAA sponsors championship programs through which 108 teams and more than 720 student-athletes are crowned state champions in 30 sports each year.

The National Federation of State High School Associations serves its 50 member state high school athletic/activity associations, plus the District of Columbia. The NFHS publishes playing rules in 16 sports for boys and girls competition and administers fine arts programs in speech, theater, debate and music.

USA Football is an independent non-profit organization leading the development of youth, high school, and international amateur football. In its role as the national governing body of America's favorite sport, USA Football provides programs and resources inspiring participation and further strengthening the quality of the game. USA Football was endowed by the NFL and NFL Players Association in 2002.
